Peso Compass is a personal money clarity app published by Virocel. This policy explains how Peso Compass handles information in the current app release and how future services will be handled if they are added later.
Summary
The current version of Peso Compass is local-first. No account or login is required, no ads are shown, no analytics SDK is used, no cloud sync is provided, no in-app purchase is required to use the core app, and financial data you enter is stored on your device.
Information You Enter
Peso Compass lets you enter account names, balances, money actions, notes, emergency fund settings, planning preferences, and related personal finance details. This information is used only to provide app features such as dashboard totals, transaction history, planning helpers, interest estimates, widgets, backup export, and backup restore.
In the current version, Virocel does not receive, collect, sell, or share this financial data.
Local Storage
Peso Compass stores app data locally on your device using app-private storage. If you use the backup export or restore features, you choose when to copy or paste backup data. Keep exported backup text or files private, because they may contain personal financial information.
Uninstalling the app, clearing app data, replacing a device, or deleting a backup can remove your local data. Peso Compass does not currently provide cloud recovery.
Permissions And Device Features
Peso Compass uses Android app widgets so you can view totals and start quick actions from your home screen. Widget data is generated from the app data stored on your device.
The current app does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, SMS, phone, health, or advertising identifier access.
Ads, Analytics, Login, And Cloud Sync
The current version of Peso Compass does not include ads, analytics, login, or cloud sync.
Virocel may add optional ads, login, cloud sync, or analytics in a future release. If that happens, this policy and the app store disclosures will be updated before those services are released, and the app will explain any new data collection or sharing that applies.
Purchases And Monetization
Peso Compass is free at launch. The core app is intended to remain useful without a required purchase.
Virocel may add a one-time Pro unlock or optional supporter tips in a future release. If purchases are added, the app store listing and policy disclosures will be updated before release.
Children
Peso Compass is not designed for children and is intended for general personal finance use by adults. Virocel does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the current version of the app.
App Stores And Device Platforms
Google Play, Huawei AppGallery, your device manufacturer, and your operating system may process information under their own policies when you install, update, review, or use apps. Their practices are separate from Virocel's local-first handling inside Peso Compass.
Changes To This Policy
Virocel may update this privacy policy when Peso Compass changes, when store requirements change, or when future services are added. The updated policy will be published at https://pesocompass.virocel.com/privacy.
